Captive Portal / Guest Network
The cooktop does not support captive portal networks — networks that require accepting terms or logging in via a webpage before granting internet access. These are common in hotels, showrooms, and dealer guest WiFi.
The "Installation incomplete" error ("We're not able to reach the update servers") will appear if the cooktop is connected to a captive portal network.
Workarounds:
- –Use a mobile phone hotspot instead
- –Use a standard WPA2 password-protected network (no captive portal)
For dealer / showroom installations: Recommend providing a standard password-protected WiFi network rather than guest or captive portal WiFi.
Note: The software team is evaluating solutions, but there is no ETA — the cooktop's interaction model makes captive portals technically challenging.
